‘Ashakiranagalu’ Kannada film has completed the shooting in the direction of GS Rama Rao who made ‘Idhre Gopi Bidre Paapi’. The only recognizable face for this film is ‘Dhuniya Rashmi’. Startign on 24th April Akshaya Tritiya day and Dr Rajakumar birth anniversary the unit of this film went to Arasikere and then to Basavapatna. Producer Lakshman Nayak a government servant, Congress I politician cum agriculturist with his pension money is investing on this film.

‘Ashakiranagalu’ is a children tale and commercial venture with elders acting in it. A teacher in this film focuses attention on ‘Subhikshathe’. The health, education, food and good environment she focuses in the film. There is no love of a normal Kannada film.

Narasimha Murthy has done the assistance in direction and also written the dialogues. Actress in the last 40 years Jayalakshmi is playing mother. Master Mithun a second standard student grandson of producer Lakshman Nayak is in an important role.

For Dhuniya Rashmi this is a comeback. She plays the teacher role in this film. A film shooting continuously changing two places is first time in my career stated Rashmi who has a small role in ‘January 1 Bidugade’ Kannada cinema in which Pooja Gandhi is also in important role.
